About Brand Activation
Advertising creates awareness. Brand activation creates behavior. Activation is the work of turning a brand message into something a consumer actually sees, touches, or participates in — an in-store display, a sampling event, a sponsorship moment, a mobile tour. It meets the shopper or fan where they are, at the moment they're closest to making a decision.
For CPG brands, that usually means the shelf, the stadium, or the retailer's digital storefront. Advertising tells; activation converts.

BAM is a full-service brand activation agency. We develop and execute programs across four core areas: sports sponsorships (NASCAR, PGA Tour, Minor League Baseball, and more), retail activation, mobile tours and experiential events, and cause marketing programs tied to brand-relevant partners like Feeding America.
We handle strategy, negotiation, creative, logistics, retailer alignment, and measurement — so your in-house team doesn't have to stitch those pieces together across multiple vendors.

BAM primarily works with CPG brands — food, beverage, household, personal care, and health categories where retail execution and shopper marketing make or break the business. Over 30 years, we've partnered with 112 brands, from large national CPGs to mid-sized challengers trying to punch above their weight.
We also work directly with pharmaceutical brands — providing consumer education, resources, and engagement programs across a variety of therapeutic areas. Working directly with pharma is fundamentally different from activating retail health categories, and it's a specialty most agencies in our space don't have. It's a capability we've built deliberately, and it shows up in how we design programs where compliance, credibility, and consumer trust aren't optional.
If your growth hinges on winning the in-store moment — a secondary display, a promoted end cap, a branded sampling event, or a shopper-targeted sports tie-in — we're built for you.

Our deepest expertise is with Kroger — we've built programs that have driven more than 2,300 incremental in-store displays and significant digital sales lift there — but our work extends to any retailer where our clients want to grow.
The depth of program success we've built at a major retail partner means we know what "good" looks like. Those playbooks translate across national and regional retailers.

Yes — and end-to-end is where sponsorships actually pay off. We've negotiated and activated sponsorships across NASCAR (Kroger Racing, Sysco Racing), the PGA Tour, and Minor League Baseball (Grilling All-Stars).
End-to-end means: identifying the right property for your brand and budget, negotiating terms, producing assets, activating at retail to tie the sponsorship to actual sell-through, measuring ROI, and managing the property relationship year-round. Most brands don't need more logo placements — they need sponsorships that move product.

Yes. We produce branded video content — from sponsorship hype reels to long-form storytelling — in-house or with vetted production partners. Content is usually a requirement for the sponsorships and activations we build, so we own that capability rather than outsource it piecemeal.

The first step is a discovery conversation — usually 30 to 45 minutes — where we learn about your brand, your goals, the retailers or properties that drive your business, and the budget range you're working with. We also provide a program brief to help align objectives and shape program design.
From there, we put together a recommended approach scoped around what will actually move the needle.

Engagements vary by scope, but most fall into one of three shapes: a single-program activation — a sponsorship, a retail event, a mobile tour — with a defined start and end; an ongoing retainer covering a brand's full activation calendar across properties and retailers; or a project sprint where we come in to strengthen a program that's already underway.
We tailor the contract structure to what fits — you won't be forced into a template.

It depends on complexity and anchor partner timing. A sponsorship activation tied to an existing property can launch in as little as 60–90 days if creative and retailer alignment move quickly. A custom mobile tour or retail event built from scratch typically needs 4–6 months, including retailer approvals and production.
For major annual programs — back-to-school, summer grilling, holiday — most brands lock in 6–9 months ahead.
Both. We've built high-impact programs for challenger brands that can't outspend the category leaders — and that's often where the most creative work happens.
The question isn't whether you're big; it's whether activation is the right lever for where your brand is today. On a first call, we're honest — if a different approach would serve you better, we'll say so.

We customize KPIs based on individual business objectives — measurement is baked in from the scoping stage, not tacked on at the end.
Depending on the program, we track incremental displays, shopper lift, sell-through versus baseline, sponsorship media value, digital engagement, retailer-reported velocity, and — where applicable — direct sales attribution through retailer loyalty data.
For some retail programs, we can measure down to the household level using the retailer's first-party data tools. We report in terms of business impact.

BAM — Brand Activation Maximizer — has been building brand activation programs for 30 years. In that time we've procured more than $360 million in sponsorship dollars for our clients and served 112 brands.
We've stayed independent, focused, and deliberately niche. This is what we do, and it's all we do.

On the sponsorship side, our highest-profile work includes Kroger's NASCAR program, the Sysco NASCAR program, PGA Tour athlete sponsorships, and Minor League Baseball through the Grilling All-Stars platform.
On the retail side, we've built Kroger-focused programs spanning sustainability (Choose Forest Friendly), cause marketing (Full Carts, Full Hearts with Feeding America), and health (the Mobile Health Tour for Kroger Health).

Two things. First, we connect sponsorships to retail and other verticals. Plenty of agencies can land a sponsorship deal, and plenty can run a retail program — few can tie a NASCAR sponsorship to an end cap and measure what the combination actually drove in units. That's our specialty.
Second, we're operators, not brokers. We negotiate deals, but we also execute them — which means we're accountable for the outcome.
